This February, Women in Computer Science (WiCS) at Stony Brook University is hosting its 7th annual hackathon, HopperHacks.

HopperHacks is a 24-hour long, social good-focused hackathon to encourage students to make an impact on relevant social issues around the world today, such as mental/physical health, diversity and inclusion, and the environment, all by applying their technical skills. We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment for undergraduate and graduate students of any background and skill level to participate in. This year we plan to have a hybrid hackathon, allowing participants to show up in person or virtually. Anyone can attend, regardless of major or gender.
