Invitation to FemmeHacks 2022
FemmeHacks is back for its seventh year on Feb 11-12th, 2022, and we would love to see you and your students there. FemmeHacks is a collegiate hackathon hosted by Women in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Our event is a great way for women* of all skill levels to learn new programming skills, network with each other, and collaborate in making awesome apps. We aim to inspire, teach, and empower young women in the Philly tech community by hosting educational workshops and providing a fun environment where they can create lasting bonds.
Super awesome tech companies such as Facebook send women mentors to answer questions and offer advice, and they’ll be coming again this year. Last year, we had a hacker-to-mentor ratio of 4-to-1. We’ll also be mailing out FemmeHacks swag, such as t-shirts and face masks, to all eligible participants. We also have an abundance of prizes this year, such as Amazon gift cards and more!
